On October 25th, we began our series of activities in conjunction with the Albal Town Hall. The day started with a parade by the youth bands of Albal and Albalat de la Ribera through the streets most affected by the flooding, including areas where people with reduced mobility were present. Later, the bands performed several pieces together, much to the delight of those in attendance. Following this, an open activity was held for senior residents and other townspeople, who enjoyed live music performed by our volunteers: Rosana Ferriols, Laura Llombart, Margherita Morselli, and María Vila.

It was a magical and intergenerational gathering, fostered by the music that defines our Valencian town. A morning full of emotion.

In the afternoon, we held the first “Explorers in Nature” activity for children aged 9 to 12. It took place in the Santa Ana Forest. Our member and volunteer, Raúl García, shared knowledge about the environment and wilderness survival techniques through various games. We had a very useful and fun first experience.

Thanks also to the president of the Germanor association, Edelia Villarroya and to our volunteers: Lucía Ballabriga, Laura Faus, Aitana López, María Katerina Monzonís, Alejandro Soriano, Sara Rodríguez and María Romero, this wonderful day was possible.

We also appreciate the participation of: María José Hernández, Deputy Mayor of Albal; Leticia Ricart, Coordinator of Social Services for Albal; Francisco Berjano, Director of the Municipal Residence; Eliseu Dasí, Director of the Albalat de la Ribera Youth Band; Marta Pérez, Director of the Albal Youth Band; and Daniel Reinón, President of the Albal Musical Youth Society.
