Activity for children and teenagers from the towns of Albalat de la Ribera and Riola

On June 28th, the “Activity for Children and Adolescents of the Towns of Albalat de la Ribera and Riola” took place. This activity, aimed at children and adolescents from the towns of Albalat de la Ribera and Riola, was organized by the Psychological Support Platform in Disasters “Germanor” and the town councils of Albalat de la Ribera and Riola. It was funded by the Ministry of Social Rights, Consumer Affairs and Agenda 2030. The activity involved PAPGERMANOR volunteers accompanying children and young people affected by the October 29th DANA storm to participate in various activities focused on reconnecting with nature and learning survival techniques in the beautiful natural setting of La Murta de Alcira.

This was the first of many activities led by our spokesperson and volunteer, Raúl García. He provided us with a fresh perspective on nature. The experience was very enriching and practical, and we all enjoyed it.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Josep Sala, First Deputy Mayor and Councillor for Festivals, Youth, Commerce and Communication, and Melisa Fons, Councillor for Sports, Equality, Senior Citizens and Social Welfare of the Albalat de la Ribera Town Hall, and the President of the Germanor Association, Edelia Villarroya, for their invaluable dedication and work.
