On December 9, 2024, mid-morning, the three representatives of GERMANOR: Ms. Edelia Villarroya (President), Mr. Raúl García (spokesperson) and Mr. Álvaro Pérez (spokesperson), traveled to the Albalat de la Ribera Town Hall to meet with the Mayor, Mr. José Antonio Roig, Mr. Josep Sala, First Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Festivals, Youth, Commerce, and Communication; Ms. Melisa Fons, Councilor for Sports, Equality, Senior Citizens, and Social Welfare; and Ms. Andrea Pérez, Councilor for Education.
In an atmosphere of mutual interest and total readiness to collaborate, the foundations were laid for a close relationship between the two organizations, for the benefit of those most vulnerable and affected by the disaster of October 29, 2024. Consideration was taken to extend the collaboration to neighboring populations.
