On August 5, 2025, four entities (including us) gathered together, willing to collaborate to contibute to imrove the welfare of those affected by the October storm.
In this vein, we met with the following representatives: on behalf of the Albal Town Council: Ms. María José Hernández Ferrer, Vice Mayor of Albal and Councilor for Festivals, Falles, and Social Welfare; Mr. Carlos Ricart, deputy secretary and board member of the Albal Youth Music Society Symphonic Band (SJMA for its initials in Spanish); and Ms. Inmaculada Ruiz, Social Worker at the Albal Town Council. Representing the Albalat de la Ribera Town Council: Mr. Josep Sala Sánchez, First Deputy Mayor for Festivals, Youth, Commerce, and Communication of Albalat de la Ribera, and Mr. Eliseu Dasí, Director of the Banda Jove de l’Ateneu Musical i Cultural d’Albalat de la Ribera (The Youth Music Band of the Cultural Center of Albalat de la Ribera). Representing the Town Council of Cheste: Ms. Mª Ángeles Llorente, Deputy Mayor for Culture, Education, Health, Social Services, and Finance. Finally, representing the GERMANOR association: the association’s president, Ms. Edelia Villarroya, and spokesperson Mr. Raúl García.
After discussing the population’s needs and possible assistance, we agreed to draw up a more precise schedule for the coming fall months.
Our first objective will be to share and convey through music the optimism needed to uplift our emotions and feelings in the coming months.
